Bangla TV Now Broadcasting via Bangabandhu Satellite-1

Bangla TV, a local television channel, has officially started broadcasting through Bangabandhu Satellite-1. The channel is now available on C-Band at a downlink frequency of 4720 MHz from the satellite positioned at 119.1° East longitude.

According to channel authorities, this initiative aims to reach viewers across the country, especially in remote areas. Audiences nationwide can now enjoy Bangla TV’s news and programs using a 6 to 8-foot C-Band dish antenna.

The move strengthens Bangladesh’s domestic satellite utilization and expands the reach of local media. Bangla TV joins the growing list of Bangladeshi channels broadcasting through the country’s first geostationary communications satellite.
