*”We Have to Bring the Colour Back”*
_Those who drowned in sorrow, we have to make them smile,_
_Those who were left alone, we have to bring them to the gathering._
_How unique is our family of poets,_
_Where there is despair, even there we have to bring colour._
_With words, we stitch the wounds of the heart,_
_And we string scattered moments into a poem._
_We are merely beggars of words,_
_Even every pain has to be made into a song._
_We want no crown, we want no throne,_
_We just want a true heart._
_Where there is truth, we stop there,_
_Where there is lie, we have to walk away._
_This is not poetry, this is our worship,_
_To speak the truth, we have to drink poison too._
_We are not hungry for applause,_
_We just have to make a home in hearts._
_And when we rise from this gathering,_
_We leave behind a new era._
_People then say slowly -_
_”When he came, the gathering came to life.”_
